When a Bonham's auction specialist had been to Spain in 1996 to appraise a long dormant Porsche 906 for a family which wanted to sort the affairs of a rich relative who'd recently died, what he discovered was a one-of-a-kind lamborghini. It was parked near the Porsche at the rear of the garage, covered in dust in the midst of 20 motorcycles and a speedboat. The family was initially unaware of its rarity and value, but they finally sold it. Just one was made for an american who wanted to race at the Le mans, although he never could due to homologation issues.

The car was hidden since 1966 and finally appeared in 2006( after 40 years)in full public view at the Bonham's auction UK where an english collector bought it for 1,77,500 pounds.

The rarest Lamborghini with the most spectacular retro design making it a timeless piece of art.
